1st place receives two general admission tickets to Mystery of Sake

Here are the guidelines:
- Send a us a picture of you at one of our participating restaurants
- The picture must include you with food, a menu or the restaurant's name anywhere
- Be creative! You must interpret our theme: "Mystery of Sake"
- The two most creative photos as judged by us will be the finalists
- The picture with the highest votes on Twitter will win the tickets!

Smile for Sake Ticket Giveaway Photo Contest Official Rules

1. No Purchase Necessary.

2. To Enter: Beginning on March 20, 2009, interested parties (the "Entrant" or "Submitter") may enter online only by emailing the following: a completed contest registration form (including full name, address, daytime phone number, and email address), and uploading a photo entry depicting Entrant's interpretation of “Mystery of Sake" at one of the event's participating restaurants. The photo subject should include the entry Submitter him/herself. The prize will be awarded to the Submitter, not to the person(s) shown in the photo submission. Photo entries must be in jpg, png, tiff, or gif format. The maximum file size accepted is 5MB.

Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to electronic or technical reasons beyond Sponsor's reasonable control. Limit; ONE entry per person or household per day, and each individual photo may only be submitted once during the duration of the Contest. Entries submitted in violation of the “Smile for Sake" entry rules will be void, including inappropriate or offensive entries. All entries become the property of the Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation and will not be returned. All entries must be received by April 20, 2009, the official end date of the Contest.

3. Eligibility: This Contest is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia, and Canada (except for the province of Quebec, where it is void) who are 21 years of age and older. Void in Puerto Rico, and wherever else prohibited and/or restricted by law. Employees of the Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation, their affiliates, divisions, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and any other entity directly associated with this contest (and the immediate family members) are not eligible to participate. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local U.S. and Canadian laws.

4. Judging Criteria: (1) Entries meeting the eligibility requirements of Rule #2 will be judged by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Judging will be based on the following criteria: (A.) Originality and Creativity (40%), (B.) Relevance to the Contest Theme (40%), and (C.) Photo Quality and Clarity (20%). Two (2) entries with the highest overall score will be determined as the finalists. Votes from Twitter will start on April 20, 2009 and end on April 21, 2009. The Sponsor is not responsible for votes not received due to electronic or technical reasons beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.

Ties shall be broken by a second round of voting using only item (B.). Item (B.) shall be interpreted to mean how well a submitted photo entry creatively depicts the “Mystery of Sake”.

5. Prize Awarding: One winner will be announced on April 21, 2009, from among all votes received on Twitter. The prizewinner will be notified in email on how to claim their prize. As part of the prize claim process, winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Waiver, and where allowable, a Publicity Release, within 10 days of notification. If prizewinner does not comply, the prize will be forfeited and offered to the Entrant who received the next highest vote. This process will be repeated until a winner has been confirmed.

6. Prize: Two tickets to “Mystery of Sake” will be awarded. Approximate Retail Value of Prize: $120. All other expenses are the winner's responsibility, including local and ground transportation and parking.

7. Terms/Conditions: All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and the prize can only be awarded to the person whose name is on the winning entry. Entrant warrants and represents: (a) their entry is an original snapshot, that has not been digitally altered (except for cropping) and that he/she is the sole and exclusive owner of the photo submission, including all rights therein (b) Entrant has the full and exclusive right, power and authority to submit the photo entry, and to grant the Sponsor the rights to the submission, including but not limited to the worldwide copyright; (c) no rights in the submission have been previously granted to any other person, firm, corporation or entity.

Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any submission at any time in the event it is determined that the submission is offensive, inappropriate, not in keeping with Sponsor's image, or if it is determined that the Entrant has not otherwise complied with these Official Rules. If the submission contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the Entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photo, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the use and exhibition of the submission by Sponsor. By entering, photo Submitter grants the Sponsor the right to edit, adapt, and publish any or all photo entries and/or titles and captions, and to use these entries in any media form, including posting on the Internet, including, but not limited to www.LTSC.org and http://sake.ltsc.org, or in any manner of Sponsor's choice without attribution or further compensation. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. By claiming a prize, winner agrees that the Sponsor, and their officers, employees, shareholders, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies, do not have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind related to participation in this Contest, or from acceptance or use of the prize. Acceptance of the prize shall constitute the winner's agreement that the Sponsor or their agent(s) may use and/or display the winner's name, address (city, state only), likeness, biographical information, photo entry and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes, without further consideration, except where prohibited by law. All taxes on prizes (if applicable) are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not transferable/assignable. No cash alternative to prize is offered and no substitutions are allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
